The European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming, commonly known as ECOOP, is an annual conference covering topics on object-oriented technologies, software development, systems, languages and applications.

The AITO Dahl-Nygaard Prizes are presented at ECOOP.

In 2012 ECOOP leaves Europe for only the second time since it co-located with OOPSLA 1990 in Ottawa, Canada. ECOOP 2012 is co-locating with PLDI 2012 in Beijing.
